A competent Building Control Surveyor who has experience of ten years working for Local Authority and seven years with a private consultant before forming Bluekeep in 2004.

With over eighteen years experience as a Building Control Surveyor, a wide and extensive range of knowledge has been accumulated within the field. This includes dealing with all types of commercial buildings, offices, shops and licensed premises and residential buildings, hotels, hospitals and nursing homes.  Additional experience gained with government buildings including prisons, defence estate buildings and other crown estate contracts in England and Scotland.

Chris has 27 years experience of working in the Building Control environment and has been involved with this discipline since leaving school in 1977. Always involved with the administration and enforcement of the Building Regulations, he has developed a varied portfolio including domestic extensions, new houses, large and small commercial projects, large industrial buildings, hospitals and health care buildings, and sports and leisure facilities. He has worked for a number of Local Authorities and for the past 4 years, before joining BlueKeep LLP, has carried out the Building Regulation Approved Inspector function on behalf of a private consultant.
