Laing O’ Rourke Northern Limited
MSU / PDU Hospital. Phase II. St Nicholas Hospital, Newcastle
upon Tyne. (70 week, £18 Million contract)
BlueKeep is providing the Approved Inspector Service for
Phase II of the re-development of St Nicholas’ Hospital.
This new building will contain a new 16 bed medium secure
Personality Disorder Unit (male) and the re-provision of 25
medium secure mental health beds including a dedicated 4 bed
female unit and a separate high dependency unit.
BlueKeep have been appointed by the main contractor, Laing
O’Rourke, under the NHS ‘Procure 21’ procurement
process. Further contracts have been awarded to Bluekeep following
this opportunity to establish a working partnership.
Ultimate Leisure
BlueKeep are the preferred supplier of Building Regulation approval for Ultimate Leisure. A renowned North East business, they are continually refurbishing and expanding their portfolio of bars and clubs. They have recently refurbished ‘Jimmy’s’ on the Quayside and converted an existing shop in South Shields to a bar.
Hadrian Healthcare Group
Development program. 42 weeks, £1.5 million contracts.
BlueKeep is providing the Approved Inspector Service and
Fire Risk Assessments for a local Health Care Company providing
purpose built Care Homes in the North East. Hadrian Healthcare
Group has a partnership agreement on these new care homes
giving consistency throughout the whole process. At present
two sites are being developed.
Annual fire risk assessments are being undertaken on existing
homes and following completion of the new homes a fire risk
assessment is undertaken to comply with the Fire Precautions
(workplace) Regulations.
Leapfrog Day Nursery. (Nord Anglia Limited)
Re-branding and refurbishment program. Two year rolling program for 50 nurseries in England and Wales.
BlueKeep is providing the Approved Inspector Service for Leapfrog Day Nurseries who are part of the largest nursery company in the UK. The work includes provision of new sensory rooms, increased security and upgrading of the fire systems.
